Data Storage and Security

Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you create an account, your data is synced to our secure cloud servers powered by Supabase. This enables cross-device synchronization, data backup and recovery, and access to premium features.

Local Storage

You can use PokerLog without creating an account. In this case, all data is stored locally on your device only.

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
• Encrypted data storage at rest
• Secure authentication protocols
• Regular security audits

Data Retention

• Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
• If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days
• Local-only data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Export

You can export all your session data at any time via Settings → Data → Export Data. We support CSV and JSON formats.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data by:

• Using “Clear All Data” in Settings (removes local data)
• Deleting your account (removes cloud data)
• Contacting us at support@pokerlog.app

Account Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account, or contact us directly.

Third-Party Services

PokerLog uses the following third-party services:

Supabase (Cloud Infrastructure) — Provides authentication and data storage.

Apple App Store — Distributes the iOS app and processes subscription payments. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Store — Distributes the Android app and processes subscription payments. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Apple (APNs) — Delivers push notifications. We store device tokens to send notifications such as daily insights and session reminders.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management) — Processes and manages in-app subscription purchases, receipt validation, and entitlement status.

Google Sign-In (Authentication) — Provides optional sign-in via your Google account. We receive your name and email for account creation only.

Google Gemini (AI Features - Prime Only) — Powers the AI Stats Assistant feature. Session data may be processed to provide insights.

Children's Privacy

PokerLog is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Tracking and Advertising

PokerLog does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not:

• Participate in ad tracking
• Share your data with advertising networks
• Use third-party analytics that track you across apps
• Sell your data to data brokers

We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights:

Right to Know: You have the right to request what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you.

Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of the “sale” of your personal information. PokerLog does not sell your personal information to third parties.

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Right to Restrict Processing: Request we limit how we use your data
• Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a portable format (use our Export feature)

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your data based on:

• Contract performance (providing the PokerLog service)

Google Play Users

For users who download PokerLog from Google Play:

• Payments are processed through Google Play
• Subscriptions can be managed in Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies
• You can request data deletion through the app or by contacting support@pokerlog.app

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the new policy in the app
• Updating the “Last Updated” date
• Sending an in-app notification for significant changes
